Burger King UK and UK Youth have joined forces to work for a society in which every young person is equipped to thrive and empowered to contribute at every stage of their lives. Together, we champion the essential role of youth work, which is a powerful force for good in the lives of young people and communities. It creates opportunities, kindles aspirations, offers trusted role models, and provides safe havens. It saves lives.
The work of UK Youth:
- We develop and fund youth work programmes which are delivered at a grassroots level.
- We bring young people, youth workers, business and cross sector leaders (education, justice, health, social work…) together to identify solutions, provide practical support and campaign for social change.
£15 – could pay for a young person facing a mental health crisis to have a potentially life-saving conversation with a trained youth worker.
£50 – could fund a young person with disabilities to sail on a lake for the first time.
£100 – could help a young person who has no trusted adults in their life, to be mentored by a trained youth worker.
£250 – could empower and provide the tools for a young woman to lead a community project, taking action on what really matters to her through our social action programmes.
