Oliver Bonas Charity Partnership

UK Youth are thrilled to announce that we have been selected as the ‘Be Kind Charity Partner’ for Oliver Bonas for 2019 and 2020. The Oliver Bonas team have chosen us because of the vital work we do to support young people of all backgrounds across the UK.

About our work

UK Youth is a leading national charity, committed to providing access to appropriate, high quality services in every community so that young people are empowered to build bright futures, regardless of their background or circumstances. Our network of 3,536 local youth organisations reach 1.5 million young people across the UK.

Last year 94,913 young people took part in our programmes and initiatives, with 86% of these young people reporting at least one personal barrier. Of all participating young people, 64% reported an increase in the capabilities that employers have identified as key, such as self-confidence, self-awareness, motivation, personal responsibility, receptiveness, resilience and communication.

Over 2019 and 2020 the Oliver Bonas team will be supporting UK Youth through: raising awareness of the work of UK Youth, donations from the sale of a range of products in store and online and team fundraising and providing unique engagement opportunities for young people to develop their work skills and experience. Oliver Bonas will also donate 4p out of every 5p paper bag sold, to UK Youth.

A number of Oliver Bonas products will be sold in aid of UK Youth across the two-year partnership with many developed with the UK Youth team and the young people they support. Donations from Oliver Bonas will enable young people build the key life skills they need to build a bright future. Donations will also enable UK Youth to support the 3,536 youth organisations in their network to diversify funding, strengthen quality, harness impact, champion youth and build communities.

92p in every £1 of UK Youth income goes directly to young people and the youth sector.
